  • 1/4 Cup Gram flour/besan
  • 1/4 Cup Rice Flour
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder (for red coloring)
  • ½ tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Peanuts/Groundnuts
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • 2 tbsp Oil (for mixing)
  • water (for partial mixing and dough making)
  • Oil (needed for frying)


  • In a large mixing bowl take 1 cup peanuts/groundnuts and 2 tsp Oil,1/4 Cup Gram flour/besan, 1/4 Rice Flour, 1 tsp Chilli Powder, 1/2 tsp Ginger garlic paste, and ½ tsp Salt.
  • Add 2 tbsp of water and mix well, Add 1-2 tbsp of more water in batches till the peanuts are coated well with besan
  • Deep fry in hot oil at 180-degree celsius for 20 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally and fry on low to medium flame.
  • Sprinkle ¼ tsp chaat masala and mix well, this will help enhance the flavor.
